Experience and Skills
About YOU!
-
5+ years’ experience in warehouse management in the pharmaceutical industry.
-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field (preferred).
-
Designated Representative eligibility per state board of pharmacy regulations.
-
Strong understanding of FDA, DEA, DSCSA, state board of pharmacy regulations.
-
Experience handling cold chain logistics.
-
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
-
Ability to interpret and enforce regulatory compliance requirements.
-
Able to be onsite five days a week in Horsham, Pennsylvania
-
Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.

How You'll Contribute:
1. Warehouse Operations Management
-
Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, including controlled substances.
-
Maintain compliance with GDP, cGMP, FDA, and DEA regulations.
-
Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures to ensure warehouse efficiency and safety.
-
Optimize warehouse layout to enhance storage efficiency and picking accuracy.
-
Oversee temperature-sensitive products and cold chain logistics compliance.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Designated Representative Duties
-
Act as the official regulatory contact for state and federal agencies.
-
Ensure compliance with DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) and serialization requirements.
-
Maintain pharmaceutical wholesale distribution licenses and ensure timely renewal.
-
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with state board of pharmacy regulations.
-
Ensure proper documentation and reporting for regulatory inspections and audits.
3. Inventory Control & Security
-
Monitor and track inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
-
Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent product loss.
-
Implement security measures to prevent theft, diversion, or unauthorized access.
-
Oversee handling and disposal of expired or damaged products per regulatory requirements.
4. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
-
Work with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely distribution.
-
Maintain compliance with import/export regulations and controlled substance transportation requirements.
-
Implement contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and emergency inventory needs.
5. Documentation & Record-Keeping
-
Ensure all transactions, temperature logs, and inventory records comply with regulatory standards.

Maintain and verify supplier and customer licenses to prevent unauthorized sales.
-
Ensure proper record retention as required by FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy laws.
6. Team Leadership & Training
-
Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Train staff on GDP, DSCSA, and security protocols.
-
Conduct regular performance evaluations and promote a compliance-driven culture.
7. Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance
-
Investigate and resolve quality issues related to storage, handling, and distribution.
-
Oversee temperature excursions and deviation reporting.
-
Ensure OSHA safety compliance and implement warehouse safety best practices.
